Day 1
🌟 Day 1: Arrival & Introduction to Chios’ Botanical Diversity
Welcome at Spitakia Cottages 🏨 in the traditional village of Avgonima.
Presentation on Chios orchids by an experienced nature guide 🌿.
Visit to Tholopotami village to see the famous Chios tulips (three out of four species) 🌷 and a plethora of wildflowers 🌼.
Daily orchid spotting during our excursions 🌸.
Group dinner (each person pays their own) 🍽️.
Day 2
🌿 Day 2: Amani Plateau – Orchids & Wild Nature
Hike through abandoned fields and trails 🌾️, exploring rare species such as Ophrys reinholdii.
Enjoy wild mountain asparagus daily 🌱.
Picnic in a nearby village 🌳 with local products.
Stops at interesting spots to embrace the spring’s abundance 🌼 and orchid diversity 🌺.
Return with a sunset over the Aegean Sea 🌇.

Tour through abandoned fields observing species like Ophrys speculum 🌸.

Visit to the Mastic Museum 🏫.
Spotting an additional tulip species, Tulipa undulatifolia 🌷, and the orchid Blitoperta.

Mountain route in the Pelineo area, observing unique species like Orchis provincialis 🌺.
